Utilizing the trampoline, balance beam, uneven bars, floor, and vault, students gain confidence and perseverance as they set goals and work to achieve them.

Offered in 4 levels for ages 6+.

Students wishing to expand their training beyond a once-a-week recreational approach are invited to join Balance’s NEW Elevate program. By taking a second, 90 min class per week, Elevate students enhance their overall abilities and achieve personal growth as they prepare to compete (Gymnastics), and dance on pointe (Ballet).

Designed especially for pre-teens and teens, this combo class covers the basics of ballet, lyrical and jazz set to popular music. Perfect for students wanting to enhance skills for school dance teams and/or musical theater in this advanced beginner level class.

Class ratio 12:1

Offered in various levels, including a level just for tween and teens, tumble classes help beginners get a cartwheel and roundoff, and advanced students achieve a back handspring and more! Tumble classes use the floor and tumble track; they do not use the beam, vault or bars.

For dancers wanting quality ballet training one or two days per week, Balance offers ballet classes in 4 levels. Classes perform in the annual recital and additional opportunities are available through the Performance Group.

Join us as we learn age-appropriate dance combinations that focus on rhythm and coordination set to music they love. Dancers learn a combination that builds into a dance after 4 – 6 weeks. Offered in 4 levels.

 Hip Hop is a high energy, fast paced dance class with choreography that emphasizes sharp, isolated movements.

The perfect class for cheerleaders working on cartwheels, handstands, roundoffs, and back handsprings. Part of class time will also be devoted to cheer jumps.

Class ratio 10:1

Lyrical dance combines elements of ballet and jazz in a fluid, expressive style of dance often set to music with lyrics. Students taking Enrollment in Ballet 3 or 4 is required.

Class ratio 14:1

Students wanting multiple performance opportunities throughout the year. Placement is by audition and open to students age 8+ who take one ballet or one jazz class weekly, plus the Performance Group class. Students will learn group dances (lyrical and jazz styles.) to perform around the community at concerts and festivals.

Students taking Balle 3 or 4 are encouraged to join Elevate Ballet for the pointe prep and/or pointe class to develop their calves, ankles, and arches for the future rigors of pointe work. Therabands will be provided to each student. Multi-class discount applies.  See tuition chart.
