Utilizing the trampoline, balance beam, uneven bars, floor, and vault, students gain confidence and perseverance as they set goals and work to achieve them.

Dancers work on flexibility, coordination, and musicality classes that put the FUN into the fundamentals of classical ballet. Classes include barre work and combinations across the floor. Offered in 4 levels for ages 6+.

Students wishing to expand their training beyond a once-a-week recreational approach are invited to join Balance’s NEW Elevate program. By taking a second, 90 min class per week, Elevate students enhance their overall abilities and achieve personal growth as they prepare to compete (Gymnastics), and dance on pointe (Ballet).

Hip Hop is a high energy, fast paced dance class with choreography that emphasizes sharp, isolated movements. 

Offered in 4 levels for ages 6+.

The perfect class for cheerleaders working on cartwheels, handstands, roundoffs, and back handsprings. Part of class time will also be devoted to cheer jumps.

Class ratio 10:1

Offered in various levels for ages 6+, tumble classes help beginners get a cartwheel and roundoff. Our advanced students achieve a back handspring and more! Tumble classes use the floor and tumble track; they do not use the beam, vault or bars.

Join us as we learn age-appropriate dance combinations that focus on rhythm and coordination set to music they love. Dancers learn a combination that builds into a dance after 4 – 6 weeks.

Students taking Ballet 3 or 4 are encouraged to join Elevate Ballet for the pointe prep class to develop their calves, ankles, and arches for the future rigors of pointe work. Therabands will be provided to each student. Multi-class discount applies.  See tuition chart.

Lyrical dance combines elements of ballet and jazz in a fluid, expressive style of dance often set to music with lyrics. Ballet class required to enroll. See tuition chart.

Tap lets kids enhance their rhythm and musicality while making a lot of noise! Class includes warm-up, across the floor exercises, and combinations to music they love.

Class ratio 12:1

Students wanting multiple performance opportunities throughout the year. Placement is by audition and open to students age 8+ who take one ballet or one jazz class weekly, plus the Performance Group class. Students will learn group dances (lyrical and jazz styles.) to perform around the community at concerts and festivals.
