Tuition Policies for Aug - May Classes

1. Classes meet from mid-August through mid-May. By enrolling, you are securing your child's place in class for the full year. Students remain in the same class throughout the academic year unless a promotion is suggested by an instructor.

2. If you'd like to make a schedule change during the year, we'd be happy to accommodate so long as there is an open space within a class that is appropriate for your child's age and level.

3. If your child does not enjoy class, you may cancel your enrollment by giving 30-days' notice to info@balanceatl.com..

4. Tuition is based on the number of mins/hours the student is in class per week. See Tuition for pricing.

5. Tuition is billed in 10, equal* monthly installments, which are drafted on the first the month from August - May to the AutoPay card on file. Tuition is not refundable or prorated for absences, holidays, or partial months. Tuition covers classes only, and there is an additional charge for the spring dance recital, costume fees, and items from within Balance's dress code. See Tuition for pricing. *For enrollments made before July 20, 50% of August's tuition installment is due at the time of enrollment. The balance of 50% is due August 1, 2025. Students who register after July 20 pay 100% of the first tuition installment at the time of enrollment.

6. You have the option to pay for the semester in full. This option includes a 3% savings and is only available through August 1, 2025, for the fall semester and January 1, 2026, for the spring semester. Email info@balanceatl.com for details. Payment by check, ACH, or credit card is accepted for this option. Refunds are not provided for semester payments made in full, even if enrollment is cancelled.

7. An annual, nonrefundable membership fee of $40 per student (max of $80 per family) is due during the initial enrollment. The membership fee is billed on each anniversary thereafter and covers gymnastics and studio equipment upgrades, insurance, wifi and other expenses not covered by tuition.

8. A late fee of $25 will be applied to accounts with a balance on the 5th of the month. If tuition is not paid in full by the 15th day of the month, the student will not be admitted to class.

See Summer Brochure HERE for tuition policies for Summer Camp, Clinics and Classes.

Attendance/Make-Up Policy

We ask that parents notify Balance Dance + Gymnastics of an absence before the student’s class. Two make-up classes are allowed per semester during the academic year. Make-ups should be scheduled with the front desk or by emailing info@balanceatl.com.  Occasionally we offer a weekend Open Gym as a make-up option. Make-ups for summer classes, camps and clinics are only approved with a doctor's note in the case of injury or illness.

We staff every class. There are no refunds or credits if your child misses a class.

Release of Liability

During the registration process, parents/guardians note that they understand that by participating in any dance and/or gymnastics class, rehearsal or performance, there is a possibility of physical injury. They agree to release and hold harmless Balance Dance + Gymnastics, including its teachers, dancers, staff members, and facilities from any cause of action, claims, or demands now and in the future.
