The following dress code is an important part of dance + gymnastics training. The guidelines ensure students can safely and comfortably participate in class free of distractions. Students not following the dress code and stated hair styles will receive 2 warnings. If the student is still not dressed properly by the third week, he/she will observe class.

Tuition and Registration for the Fall and Spring Semesters
An annual, nonrefundable membership fee of $40 per student ($80 per family) is due at enrollment and on the anniversary thereafter. Tuition is based on the number of mins/hours the student is in class per week. See the "Tuition" tab for semester pricing. Tuition payments can be made via:
1. Equal monthly installments (which are auto drafted to the credit card or ACH on file) on 8/1, 9/1, 10/1, 11/1, and 12/1 for the fall semester and on 1/1, 2/1, 3/1, 4/1 and 5/1 for the spring semester. With this payment plan, tuition for the semester is divided into five, equal monthly installments. Installments are not prorated for absences, holidays, or partial months.
2. Payment in full for the semester. This option includes a 3% savings and is only offered through September 1, 2023. Email info@balanceatl.com for details. Payment by check, ACH, or credit card is accepted for this option.
A late fee of $25 will be applied to accounts with a balance on the 5th of the month. If tuition is not paid in full by the 15th day of the month, the student will not be admitted to class.
If your student needs to withdraw, thirty days' written notice is required to discontinue billing by emailing info@balanceatl.com.
Dance Recital Fee
Participation in the spring recital is encouraged for dance students but not required. Students rehearse the last part of class during the spring semester leading up to the recital. A recital fee is due in January. The fee helps to offset the cost of theatre rental, professional services of the stage and lighting crew, staff chaperones backstage, and one costume.
Attendance/Make-Up Policy
We ask that parents notify Balance Dance + Gymnastics of an absence before the student’s class. Two make-up classes are allowed per semester. Dance class make-ups should be scheduled with the front desk or by emailing info@balanceatl.com. Gymnastics and tumbling make-up classes should be scheduled through the Sign Up Genius: Balance Families: Gymnastics/Tumbling Make-Ups Fall 2023.
There will be no refunds or credits for missed classes.
COVID-19
Balance conducts daily studio and gym cleanings and requests students wash hands/use hand sanitizer before each class. Face masks are optional for students, teachers, and guests. We require that any staff member or student who has had an active case of COVID-19 wait at least ten days since symptoms first appeared before returning to class. If they test positive and no symptoms develop, they should wait at least five days from the date of the positive test before returning to the studio/gym and wear a mask until day ten.
Release of Liability
During the registration process, parents/guardians note that they understand that by participating in any dance and/or gymnastics class, rehearsal or performance, there is a possibility of physical injury. They agree to release and hold harmless Balance Dance + Gymnastics, including its teachers, dancers, staff members, and facilities from any cause of action, claims, or demands now and in the future.
